The Niabi Zoo Foundation invites the public to party with a purpose on Thursday, May 4 at the Rust Belt in East Moline. This event will feature entertainment by renowned show band, Maggie Speaks.
Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of music, while also contributing to the vital work of the zoo. The concert will feature special appearances by Niabi Zoo staff and the Foundation Board, to provide an up-close look at the organization’s new master plan.
Funds raised from the concert will support the zoo’s animal care, education, and conservation programs. With your help, we can create new habitats and continue to provide safe and nurturing homes for our animal residents, as well as educate and inspire others to make a positive impact on wildlife conservation efforts.
This year, the Niabi Zoo is celebrating its 60th birthday, marking an important milestone for the organization. Since its founding in 1963, the zoo has been dedicated to its mission of promoting wildlife conservation through education, research, and animal care.
“We are thrilled to host this concert fundraiser to support our ongoing efforts to protect and conserve wildlife, especially as we celebrate our 60th anniversary,” said Krisan Steiger, Chair of the Niabi Zoo Foundation. “We hope the community will join us for a night of music and fun, while also supporting a great cause to allow the zoo to continue creating memorable experiences for families now and generations to come.”
Doors for the Birthday Bash open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Additional event details and updates can be found at niabizoofoundation.com or on the Niabi Zoo Foundation Facebook page.
