Dinner Time

Rainbow lorikeets mainly eat flowers on trees or shrubs. They will also eat fruits, seeds, and some insects.

Safety in Numbers

Rainbow lorikeets live in groups. This helps to protect them from predators. If one member of the group notices a predator, they will make a loud squawking sound to warn the other birds.
