Slow Swimmers
The Longhorn, a part of the Boxfish family, has no pelvic skeleton, so they lack pelvic fins. They have a unique swim method called ostraciform swimming, which gives them the appearance of hovering in the water.
Unique Feeders
This fish is omnivorous. They find nourishment from benthic algae, worms, mollusks, crustaceans and smaller fishes along with numerous microorganisms and other animals that they strain from sand and sediment.
