Your child can attend one of three Zoo Classes based on age with the corresponding time below:
10:00 am – 11:00 am – Holiday Tails (Ages 4-5) *Requires an adult to attend with your child
- Come join us for a holiday themed class where we talk about some amazing tails and how they help animals survive! a festive book to finish our holiday activities.
2:30 pm – 4:00 pm – Merry Tails (Ages 6-9)
- Let’s be merry in this class where we learn about amazing tails that help animals survive, such as prehensile tails which allow animals to grab onto branches like hands! We will finish off our class with a reading of holiday book.
2:30 pm – 4:00 pm – Festive Tails (Ages 10-13)
- Attend a festive class where we discuss adaptations in tails that animals use to survive! We will be making ornaments and we will have several fun activities for our festive class!
Cost per class:
- Ages 4-5 Zoo Member = $12 Non-member = $15
- Ages 6-9 Zoo Member = $16 Non-member = $20
- Ages 10-13 Zoo Member = $16 Non-member = $20
Location: Classes will take place in the Niabi Zoo Discovery Center’s Conservation Classroom as well as on Zoo grounds and buildings. Please be sure your child is dressed for the weather.
